Douglastown Lions Scholarship

The Douglastown Lions Club Scholarship of $1000 is awarded to a deserving graduate from the Douglastown Service area.

Eligibility:

– must be a student living in Douglastown (this includes Bartibogue, Oak Point, up to Bonne Route on Route 11 and French Fort Cove)

– one time award of $1000

– selection based on financial need and character

– all applicants must show that they have contributed something to their school by participating in some club, group or team while they were attending high school

– Turn in to the main office at JMH no later than Monday, May 15th, 2026

Nancy Lordon Memorial Scholarship

$750 – DUE: May 15th, 2026

Purpose: To assist a deserving female student to pursue further studies or training at a recognized post-secondary institution

Submit to the main office at JMH by May 15th

Recipient will be selected by: Nancy Lordon Memorial Scholarship Committee

Eligibility:

  • Must demonstrate leadership skills
  • Successful graduation from James M. Hill
  • Minimum of two years at this high school
  • Applicant must have applied to a post-secondary institution
  • Based on need, marks, and participation in school and community

NB Real Estate Board Bursary

$1000 – DUE: May 14th, 2026

The New Brunswick Real Estate Board is offering four REALTORS Care® bursaries to graduating high school students across the province.

This is a great opportunity for students who have been involved in their community, volunteer work, and have shown strong academic performance.

• 4 bursaries available across New Brunswick
• Open to all graduating students (including those with family in real estate)

Learning Disabilities Assoc. of NB (LDANB-TAANB) Scholarship

$1000 – DUE: May 15th

The Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick (LDANB) is a charitable organization founded in 1970. Our mission is to promote understanding, acceptance, and the ability of individuals with learning disabilities to lead meaningful and successful lives. Access to higher education is a key part of this mission, and LDANB is pleased to offer its annual scholarship.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, LDANB will award one $1,000 scholarship to a student who meets the eligibility criteria outlined below.

The scholarship is open to:

• Grade 12 students entering post-secondary education in Fall 2026

• Current post-secondary students who will continue their studies during the 2026 2027 academic year

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Residency Must be a New Brunswick resident with proof of residency (driver’s licence, provincial ID, or Medicare card).

2. Diagnosis of a Learning Disability Applicants must have been formally diagnosed with a learning disability. Learning disabilities affect the acquisition, organization, retention, understanding, or use of verbal or nonverbal information in individuals with at least average abilities essential for reasoning and thinking.

Common learning disabilities include:

• Dyslexia (reading) • Dysgraphia / Written expression disorder • Dyscalculia (math)

Saint Michael’s Catholic Women’s League

$300 – DUE: May 15th, 2026

The Saint Michael’s Parish CWL (Catholic Women’s League) Is offering a $300 bursary to a JMH student. Along with the attached application, submit:

a) A letter from the applicant stating need for bursary.

b) A transcript of marks

c) Reference letter from the Principal or a teacher

d) Letter of acceptance from University/College
