The Saint Michael’s Parish CWL (Catholic Women’s League) Is offering a $300 bursary to a JMH student. Along with the attached application, submit:

a) A letter from the applicant stating need for bursary.

b) A transcript of marks

c) Reference letter from the Principal or a teacher

d) Letter of acceptance from University/College

• North and South Esk Regional

1. Entering University or Community College with a preference in Social Sciences

Application forms are available at the  guidance office of any school listed above or at the Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick – Miramichi Chapter.

Applications must be received by the Trustees no later than June 1st of each year.

All students or one of his/her parents who are members of Beaubear Credit Union for 12 months preceding the application are eligible for the bursary. Applicants should be careful to answer all questions.

The page on family information is strictly confidential. It should be completed by the parent or guardian, and mailed separately to the above address. This page will be destroyed once the Trustees have made their decision on the recipient of the Scholarship

• Open to graduates of James M ..Hill residing in the Hardwicke, Baie Ste. Anne and Escuminac area 

• Pursuing post-secondary education at least one year in duration 

• Primary consideration given to financial need 

• Secondary consideration given to academic achievement (please include your most recent transcript)

When applying for this bursary, you must include supporting information on the above four conditions of eligibility. (a cover letter OR reference letter would be an example of supporting information)

Applications can be dropped off in the main office at JMH

Recipient will be selected by:  Committee (Chatham Head)

Eligibility:

• Open to graduates of James M. Hill and MVHS
• Going into post-secondary education that is one year or longer
• Must have ties to Chatham Head or the Community Centre
• Primary consideration given to financial need
• Secondary consideration given to academic achievement and/or Volunteer Experience
