All students or one of his/her parents who are members of Beaubear Credit Union for 12 months preceding the application are eligible for the bursary. Applicants should be careful to answer all questions.

  • Open to graduates of James M. Hill and MVHS
  • Going into post-secondary education that is one year or longer
  • Must have ties to Chatham Head or the Community Centre
  • Primary consideration given to financial need
  • Secondary consideration given to academic achievement and/or Volunteer Experience

Allen Paquet & Arseneau (APA) Scholarship

$2000 – DUE: May 25th, 2026

Allen Paquet & Arseneau LLP (APA) recognizes the importance of supporting graduating students entering post-secondary Business Administration programs from its regions. Today, we are proud to announce a high-school scholarship program valued at $2,000 per student for regional high schools located near our branch offices.

1.      DEADLINE for the scholarship application is Monday, May 25, 2026 (no exceptions).

2.      Applicant must be a graduating high school senior enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution in the year of the scholarship award.

3.      Proof of enrolment in the post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2026. (Scholarship money will go directly to awardee’s institution).

Application Process

Applicant must submit the following items:

1.      Completed scholarship application form

2.      Letter of application addressed to the Scholarship Committee. The letter should contain a brief explanation of career goals and biographical (background) information.

3.      Two (2) letters of recommendations from choice of high school teachers, administrators, counselors, employers, or individual with significant knowledge of applicant’s experience and involvement.

4.      An official and recent high school transcript with cumulative grade point average and a class standing/rank.

5.      Personal Essay. In your essay, please answer the question of why you are interested in the Business Administration field of studies and what the effect this award will have on your future (maximum 300 words).
