$2000 – DUE: May 21st, 2026
The Rotary Club of Chatham will award two $2,000 scholarships to two current graduates of James M. Hill High School who will be pursuing post-secondary studies.
This application is based on a number of components including:
- Academic Achievement – maintaining a consistent academic record;
- Community Involvement – ability to demonstrate meaningful contributions to community activities:
- Financial Need –provide detailed information on your financial statue and how you will finance your studies. Please provide information on all other scholarships / bursaries at time of application;
- Provide a short document outlining why you feel you deserve this scholarship.
This scholarship will be presented by the current President of the Rotary Club of Chatham or designate at this years JMH graduation. The student in question will be invited to a Rotary Club to be recognized. The scholarship will be paid out half at graduation and the balance at the end of the first semester. The award will be conditional upon the Rotary Club of Chatham receiving written confirmation from the post-secondary institution that the Recipient has completed the first term of study and has enrolled in the second term of study. It will be the recipient’s responsibility to arrange for this written confirmation to be provided to the Rotary Scholarship Committee. Failure to provide the appropriate written confirmation will result in the award being forfeited.
The deadline for submission of this application is MAY 21st, 2026. This application must be dropped off at the JMH Main Office by that date.
